Current CV 19 Restrictions

We are now open to members only. Normal opening times are in place for week days, but weekends have timed slots that must be booked via the Chairman.

We are not able to host visitors, hold competitions or accept new members until we have clearer advice from both NFAS and HMG.

Closure update

Andy Phillips has had a conversation with our Landlord around the closure of both courses for the visit of the Mycologist on Saturday 10th November.

They decided that as long as course 1 remains closed all day then course 2 can be left open for archery as long as it is empty by 1pm.

Should you wish to shoot then enjoy course 2 but please be back at the hut by 1 as requested.

Please note that both courses and the practice butt area will

be closed to all members on

Saturday 10th November

As part of the ongoing SSSI advancements the Landlord is

bringing in a Mycologist to examine the varieties of Fungi

within the woodland.

The club will be closed to members all day.

Course 1

Course 1 is now open but please be aware that Andy is still tweaking the shots. If you find any problems with the course please do not alter anything, just make Andy aware of your issue. You can leave a note on the desk in the clubhouse if you don’t get to see him.

Work Party course closure

On Sunday 19th of August course 1, 2 and the practice butts will be closed due to the setting of the new courses.

Please attend if you can, the more members that assist the sooner the work will be complete.

Both courses will remain closed for as long as necessary to allow all of the work to be completed.

New Members

Unfortunately we do not have any places available for new members and now have a waiting list.
 
Currently the only places we have are allocated to those who take our beginners courses, which usually run from October at the earliest. If you wish to be added to our the waiting list, or list for the beginners course, you can contact the Membership Secretary at

Please be aware that taking our beginners course may not guarantee you a place immediately upon completion of the course.

There is major work required to be ready for the ILAA and NFAS opens, so whilst it would be nice to have every club member rushing to volunteer we understand that this may not be possible, but your club needs to have as many people as possible to help make these the best and most challenging courses yet.
